A little history about our family.

We retired from active duty with the United States Navy on May 31st, 1989 after serving 23 years. We were fortunate to have been stationed in many different places in this world. We lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years; in Charleston, South Carolina for 1 year; in Rota, Spain for 3 years; in Buffalo, New York for 4 years; in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for 3 years; in Tampa, Florida for 9 years and now Harrodsburg, Kentucky since March 1992.  We own a 21 acre farm where Marge raises miniature cows, Boar goats and chickens for eggs.

Lee was diagnosed with Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) in the spring of 2001.  You can read more about it in the PLS link above.

We have two children, Tammy and Thad.

Tammy is married to Mark LaPalme. They live in Salvisa, Kentucky and run a Long-term Live-in Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facility (their web page is: "Isaiah-House").  They have 2 children, Sydney and Tyler.  Sydney and Andy Ayers  presented us with a bundle of joy on 06/14/12.  His name is Adyn Sean Ayers.  Sydney & Andy  were married on 12/23/12.  Tyler married Conner Tori Hood on 11/11/11.  They presented us with bundles of joy on 04/07/13, Kennedy Rose and on 03/11/15, Jackson Anderson.   Mark has two children from a previous marriage, Mark, Jr. and Heather.  Mark, Jr. and his wife, Janet, have three children, Brianna;  Lucas; and Mia Trinity. Heather is married to David Murray and she has two children from a previous marriage, Jordon and MaKenzie Alyson. Heather and David presented us with a bundle of joy on 02/18/2016 with their son, Reese Maddox.  Both families live in southern Kentucky near their mother.

Thad was married to Anabel on July 24th, 2003 and lives in Renton, Washington with her son, Jacob. Thad has 2 children from a previous marriage, Jessica and Alexis. Their mother, Renna, and step-father, Greg Steven who is retired from active duty with the U. S. Air Force and they decided to move back to Alaska. Jessica is married Grant Caudill and presented us with a bundle of joy on 05/18/2016 with their son, Jayce.  They purchased a home not far from her mom.  Alexis is married  to Ryan Strehlow and they have moved to Idaho for his job.
